This year, AfricArena organized six hybrid events across four regions in Africa, leading up to the annual AfricArena Summit in Cape Town. The Regional Events brought together startups, investors, and corporations from the region and across Africa. Over 20 startups from Africa were selected to pitch at the Johannesburg Event. These events served as semi-final pitch sessions before the Grand Summit in Cape Town on the 3rd and 4th December 2024.

Participants joined us in the heart of Nairobi’s economic capital to watch over 20 startups pitch their tech ventures to local and international investors, engaging in powerful conversations about Africa’s booming tech ecosystem. Attendees had the opportunity to network with investors, venture capitalists, limited partners, general partners, ecosystem builders, government officials, and policymakers.
