This year, AfricArena organized five hybrid events across four regions in Africa, leading up to the annual AfricArena Grand Summit in Cape Town, South Africa. The Regional Events brought together startups, investors, and corporations from the region and across Africa. Over 20 startups from Africa were selected to pitch at each Regional Event. These events acted as semi-final pitch sessions before the Grand Summit in Cape Town on the 3rd and 4th December 2024.​

Participants joined us in the heart of Tunis, Tunisia’s economic capital, to watch over 20 startups in Deep Tech and AI pitch their tech ventures to local and international investors and engaged in powerful conversations about Africa’s booming tech ecosystem. Attendees had the chance to network with investors, venture capitalists, limited partners, general partners, ecosystem builders, and government and policy makers.
